Will ForeverTip scratch my screen?

Does ForeverTip feel like a fresh nib?

That's exactly what we designed it around. Traditional nibs gradually change shape as they wear. ForeverTip's titanium construction is designed to maintain much more consistent geometry over time, helping preserve a familiar writing experience.

Why titanium?

We wanted a material that could maintain its shape through extensive everyday writing while offering a thoughtful balance of wear resistance, precision, and hardness.

Many technical ceramics are substantially harder than titanium. Ceramic can offer exceptional wear resistance, but maximum hardness wasn't our goal. The tip repeatedly contacts your tablet's writing surface, so we deliberately chose a material that can provide long-lasting geometry without simply choosing the hardest material available.

Aerospace-grade titanium gives ForeverTip that balance. It's highly wear-resistant, can be precisely shaped and polished, and is designed to maintain a remarkably consistent writing point over time.

Do I need to replace ForeverTip?

ForeverTip is designed as a long-lasting alternative to conventional disposable nibs. Its titanium construction helps the tip maintain a highly consistent writing point through extensive normal use.

How do I install ForeverTip?

Remove the existing compatible nib from your stylus and insert ForeverTip in its place. Once properly seated, you're ready to write.

I have been using the ForeverTip for the past 2 weeks and like it a lot. It is a little different feel compared to the remarkable tip, but writes very well. I also have the confidence that it won't break or fall out at a time when I am away from home where my replacement tips are. I am very happy with it.

I am VERY satisfied with the Forevertip. It really feels pen-like and is much, MUCH better than the plastic tips I've used with my Boox Air Note 4C before.

I would especially like to highlight that Omar waws very helpful with speeding up delivery of the Forevertip, as it was crucial for it to be delivered before a certain date. Delivery in the US took longer than expected, but Omar supported me well and I received the little package right on time.

In short: I wholeheartedly recommend the Forevertip!

Currently using the reMarkable Paper Pro and so glad that I discovered the ForeverTip for the reMarkable 2! Quality is good. I love how the pen glides over the screen now, but keep in mind that this does take away the paper "feel" somewhat (if that is something you care about). The store owners are very friendly and helpful when I contacted them.

I love my new Forever Tip! It is a much closer experience to using a regular pen - something like using a rollerball. I can't speak to it's long term durability, but after many pages of writing (about 2 nibs' worth of the old style) , so far the nib still looks perfect. It also looks... really nice! It feels so much more right to have a shiny metal nib at the end of a pen than a plastic black one.

I also want to say that the customer service team are awesome! I had a lot of questions for them, and they answered on Reddit within a few hours each time.

Questions I asked:
Is it compatible with Boox products? Yes.
Will it scratch my screen? No.
Really though, will it scratch my screen? No.
Will the harder nib damage my device if I press hard while writing? No.

NB: I put a screen protector on anyway in the end, but I don't think it's necessary really.

The nib is fantastic! I l’ve been using it now for at least a month and I’m enjoying the fact that I can press a bit harder and write much more than I used to. I was always afraid I would break my nib or dull it too quickly, so I wrote less and did less on my reMarkable. It took a bit to get used to the feel of it but now I’m highly satisfied.

I would echo the thoughts about the packaging though. I almost threw it away because I wasn’t sure what it was! It finally dawned on me that it was my nib with tool to remove the old one. A little paper saying Forever Tip would have been helpful since it came from China.

Feels like a precise ballpoint pen

I ordered from them just a few days ago. The nib feels really great, I use them with my RM2 pen and Bx NA4C (which I applied a Healing Shield screen protector tho). The writing feeling is like a ballpen on paper, unlike using the OG nib which feels like a hybrid between pencil and marker.

Better feel

i've been really enjoying it so far. feels almost identical to the original nib, but i never have to replace it, and it hasn't scratched my screen at all. i also find it has more friction than the amazon metal ones, which i actually enjoy... it feels closer to writing on real paper
