Will the titanium ForeverTip scratch my screen?
ForeverTip is designed for use with compatible devices, with a polished, rounded writing surface. Keep the nib and display clean. As with any stylus, abrasive particles trapped between the tip and screen can scratch the surface.

The ForeverPen space graphite is single handedly the best EMR pen I have ever tried in my life. It’s a total game changer. It feels like one of those unique items you keep for life and keep on using it everyday and just wonder after years, how does this thing keep on going with no upkeep, no nib anxiety, no maintenance, nothing!
That feeling of pride when you keep an item for so long and still works just the way it did the first time is priceless imo. And the freedom it gives you way from never having to deal with nibs again. I don’t care if I lose them, I don’t care if it’s time to replace it. I just don’t care!
I just write, crush my meeting notes and move on. Exactly what a pen is supposed to do. Especially on paper tablets that claim they’re meant for life but then expect you to keep on buying disposable nibs and coming back. So wasteful.
Anyways, let me pick up and write as much as I want. Because I can now. With no landfill anxiety and no nib anxiety. I just write. Beautifully simple, totally recommend!

- Onyx Book Note Air3 C, used for ~ 10 months. Switching regular tip/pen with forever tip

Pro:
-Great for quick notetaking
-Very light in the hand
-Erasor at the back works like a charm
Con:
-Slippery, requires some getting use to
-tapping on-screen navigation is harder, requires accuracy or a firm tap
-looks 'cheap'. Design of box is minimalistic, but would have expected at least a cap for the pen.
Works great with Boox tablet, both the nib and écraser. Won't need to replace the nib ever again + feels like a real paper.
I have been using the Forever Pen for about 2 weeks now. Here is a comparison with the official reMarkable pen which has the ForeverTip.
- It is a well thought out design. The Forever Pen is lighter than the rM pen. It includes an eraser which works well and magnet which firmly attaches to the rM2.
- The writing is smooth and consistent. I also like the grip which is comfortable.
- There is a problem which ghosting with the pen. It results in stray lines making my page look sloppier and be less legible than it should. (Not a high bar given my handwriting) I have been able to overcome alot of the ghosting by holding the pen differently but that is less comfortable to me.
Overall preference: I still prefer the rM pen with the ForeverTip. There was some ghosting when I first inserted the ForeverTip, but that has gone away. Maybe there was a break in period. Also the rM pen feels more solid all the way through. It is one piece on the outside and the eraser does not jiggle. Finally the textured surface and one flattened side works well for my gripping the pen.
- I love the idea and performance of the Forever Tip and would recommend it highly. The Pen I can't recommend at this point because of the ghosting. It just may not fit my writing style.
To the folks at foreverTip, keep up the good work. You have a great product with the Tip and a solid concept with the pen. Also you customer service was above and beyond. You address my questions quickly and definitively. Thank you.
